Stream: Rainy Milo - Limey

You may recognise the name from Giles Peterson’s Brownswood Bubblers Eight record where her track Bout You was featured. Here’s her first mixtape, which is available for free download on the player above.

South East London resident Milo is only 16 years old, and if this is anything to go by she’ll be making commercial waves in the not too distant future.

Production from, amongst others, Mello Music Group’s Oddisee.

Audio: Amenta - Sacred Places EP

New signing to the brilliant UK based First Word Records, Amenta is one of those artists that commands your attention. She’s a Red Bull Music Academy graduate, the daughter of Jamaican Jehovah’s Witness parents who settled in Canada, and her music and beautiful voice speaks for itself. So listen above. And buy the EP, it’s only 3 quid.

WU LYF - Dirt

Hyped to fuck like only the internet can hype. This time there’s cause though, this is going to be huge.

Nowt to do with Wu Tang though, despite the name. Some white kids from Manchester, UK.

Here’s a link to a Guardian article that explains the young pretentious lot in a bit more detail. Think Odd Future, but white, British Middle class and completely different music.

Rizzle Kicks - Down With The Trumpets

Brighton twosome starting to get hype.

EDIT: I REALLY LIKE THIS

Segilola - Mathematics

My insanely talented friend and her beautiful, beautiful voice.
