Yeah, I’m not sure how that Dilla production credit works either, unless this new track from Immortal Technique’s next album is, in fact, very old. (Edit - Here’s the answer: “I been holding on to this instrumental for five, six, seven years, I don’t even know how long,” Immortal Technique told BET.com. “I actually contacted Mama Yancey, J Dilla’s mom, and I went out to Detroit to talk to her ‘cause I felt things have to be done the right way.”)
The album, promised to be a free project, is called The Martyr (how typically Immortal Technique is that title?!), features Brother Ali, Styles P, Joell Ortiz and many more.
