It’s easy to forget that between the two (at one time) seemingly polar camps of dubstep / house that sit either side of its near decade long existence, Paul Rose’s ever-restless Hotflush label put out some truly outstanding electronic soul from Mount Kimbie around 3 years ago.
Here the Berlin-based label return to more down-tempo fare, as they present the debut EP from 20 year old Shelter Point, who channels early MK / James Blake-isms to startling effect. Reeased on 22nd October.
